Regardless of what's causing it, one thing is for sure: we need to explore further into its darkness if we want to find answers. Some believe that it could be caused by something as simple as dust and rocks blocking sunlight from reaching the surface, while others believe there might be some form of Alien life on the dark side of the moon. And despite repeated attempts, they've yet to find any logical explanation for this darkness. For years, researchers have been unable to explain why this side of the moon is so much darker than the other side. Recently, however, there's been a new mystery surrounding the moon: its dark side.
Why is it that while the moon has a surface that looks just like Earth, its interior is completely different? And why is it that despite our best efforts, we've never been able to explore deeper than about a mile or so? These are just some of the questions that have puzzled scientists for years. These include mysterious mountains and depressions in the gravity field, as well as features known as mascons (which are like mountains but made out of ice). Regardless of why the dark side of moon is so different, there are some fascinating features observed there which haven't been seen on the bright side. Some theories suggest that there are magnetic field differences on the dark side, while others suggest that it's due to comet impacts or asteroid bombardment. Why is it that there are no traces of water or ice on this side of the moon? Different theories have been put forward to try and explain this, but so far none have been proven. However, scientists have been puzzled by the fact that the dark side of moon is strikingly different from this. As I recall the first card was something irrelevant and innocuous, like “What’s your favourite colour?” and the last was the more enigmatic “What do you think of The Dark Side Of The Moon?.As we all know, the side of the moon that we can see from Earth is called the bright side. We would scour Abbey Road Studios for willing guinea pigs, bring them to the studio, sit them down, roll tape and then ask them to respond to each card in order. DARK SIDE OF THE MOON SECRETS SERIES
Rather than interviewing people I came up with the idea of writing a series of questions on cards. I was trying to gather audio snippets to mix into segues on Dark Side. People often ask me about the voices on Dark Side. On May 7th, 1973, they released the album’s first two singles, “Money,” and “Any Colour You Like.” It’s one of the best-produced rock albums ever, and “Money” may be the only Top 20 hit in 7/4 time. But in the studio, the band articulated bassist Roger Waters‘ reveries on the madness of everyday life with melodic precision ( “Breathe,” “Us and Them”) and cinematic luster ( Clare Torry’s guest-vocal aria, “The Great Gig in the Sky”).
